„Feel the freedom!” It was not more than a mere few years ago when love on two wheels entered our lives in the feminine version of charming and sexy Harley-Davidson, promising wonderful joint adventures. From this point on, we knew there was no escape from the magic.
A HARLEY HEART WITH A RED FELT-TIP PEN
As we were captivated by the spirit of the Harley family their commitment to the brand, dedication to quality, comprehensive and diligent services, so was the Harley family enthralled by our medium thick red felt tip pen used judiciously to proofread both their Hungarian marketing materials and their webpage. All that to offer our support and sheer love.
After all, it was indisputable for all of us that this impressive, world-famous brand deserved world-class Hungarian-language communication in our country, as well. So in the end, we were awarded the long-awaited contract for translation, localization and transcreation tasks from the Oxford headquarters in 2011. And things were really set in motion there.
TECHNICAL TRANSLATION – BUT WHO NEEDS IT?
Although we knew there is no such thing as coincidence, just as the H-D & H-Net co-operation was much more than an attraction between identical initials, we were certain that as an international translating agency, with our strong professional foreign language base we could effectively support Harley-Davidson’s soaring success along with the company’s foreign-language communication.
Apart from translating marketing materials issued by the Oxford and Prague headquarters (as we shook up the famous „Screw it! – Let’s Ride!” slogan), the insightful knowledge of our technical translators and proofreaders was also in high demand when the RUSHMORE PROJECT was introduced in 2014. All in all, in order to publish the brochures featuring the fabulous iron stallions replete with revolutionary innovations and including the technically innovative integrated brake system, the multifunctional steering wheel and a liquid cooling system otherwise regarded as a heresy by Willy G. up to the last nuts and bolts, in a perfectly comprehensible and professionally accurate form to inform Harley customers, professional translators were called for.
